WABDL Approved Gear List
Updated May, 2008

Only support suits, shirts, briefs and wraps from commercial companies officially approved by the WABDL Apparel Committee are allowed for use in WABDL sanctioned Powerlifting Competitions. This applies to all records set and championships won, from Local State Meets to World Competitions.  

If the equipment does NOT appear on the below list, it is NOT approved. There are no modifications allowed for currently approved gear and no new shirts will be approved unless they are IPF approved.   If and/or when new equipment is approved, it will appear on the list below. Please note that the bench shirt must be on top of the deltoid 2½ inches from the edge of the shoulder.  NO SUPER-NECK, NO CRAZY NECK, AND NO RYCHLACK NECK ALLOWED.  Only standard ¾ inch neck allowed.  No zigzag stitching allowed on any shirt.
